Al Taawun’s towers sit close enough together in places that wind funnels between them more forcefully than it would on an open stretch of corniche, which is one reason we specify a sturdier track and frame profile for balconies on the windward side of a building compared to a more sheltered unit a few floors down or on the opposite face. Higher floors also mean longer lift waits on a busy morning, so we usually schedule tower visits with a little more buffer time than a ground-floor villa would need.

Residents on corner units, with balconies wrapping two sides of the building, sometimes need two separate net configurations rather than one continuous screen, since the corner itself interrupts a single sliding track.
